The Early Years
Even as a young boy, Harshad was a seeker. He collected old auction catalogs like they were maps to a secret world. By studying the world’s greatest jewels, he taught his eyes to find a “special glow” in raw rocks that others might miss.
The Royal Shadow
1982–1992
In the soft light of a palace workshop, Harshad watched his grandfather create jewels for kings. He saw the history in every gem and learned that a true artist listens to the heartbeat of the heritage he carries.
The Making of a Name
1992-2005
Carrying that legacy forward, Harshad Soni established himself by opening his first gemstone store in a prime location in Vadodara. His craftsmanship quickly attracted high-end clients in the city, as well as discerning NRIs.
What began as an inheritance soon became a legacy of its own.
The Master’s Path
2006–2013
Harshad took charge of a large gemstone showroom, turning every day into a lesson. He spent these years perfecting his craft, making sure every stone found its way to a person who would truly love it.
The Leap of Faith
2014-2016
Harshad followed his heart and started Harvish Jewels from a blank page. He chose to build a world of his own, filling his workspace with rare treasures and a promise to always follow his own creative spirit.
The New Voice
2017–2021
Stories grow when new voices join in. Ashutosh Soni became a part of the glorious legacy of Harvish in 2020 with a stronger leaning towards science and a son’s heart. While studying biomedical sciences and molecular biology at the university, he spent his weekends learning how to preserve and prosper the family legacy with logic and care.
The Smart Glow
2022–2025
The brand blossomed as Ashutosh brought a modern touch. He realized that a gem is a piece of the earth’s wealth you can hold in your hand. He joined the science of the lab with the soul of the workshop, showing that beauty is a wise and lasting investment.

The Creator of RARE
A gemologist & designer by instinct & intent
His mind is a tireless workshop, constantly translating the rhythm of nature into the language of fine jewellery. Under his grandfather’s tutelage and in the royal workshops of Vadodara, Harshad learnt that every gemstone has a pulse. He discovered that if you look at a raw “rock” long enough, it will eventually tell you what it wants to become. Today, Harshad practices a Mine-to-Market philosophy, personally hand-selecting raw stones from across the globe. For him, a design is never forced; it is found.
He waits for the stone to reveal its “rhythmic glow” before sketching a single line. This deep, lifelong passion is the foundation of every masterpiece we create, a true celebration of the Art of Rare.
The New Horizon
If Harshad is the memory of the house, Ashutosh is its future in motion. Since 2017, he chose the atelier over holidays, learning beside masters that jewellery begins with trust, not transactions. These formative years shaped his belief that every gemstone is a relationship before it becomes an heirloom.
In 2022, after completing a Master’s in Cellular and Molecular Biology, he joined Harvish, bringing scientific clarity to the age-old craft. His focus is to gradually establish Harvish as one of Gujarat’s leading gemstone jewellery brands, while leading it onto the global stage as India’s most transparent high-jewellery house, where the journey of finding a jewel is as flawless as the jewel itself.
