Craft begins at the source. At Harvish, we do not source from polished inventories. We source at the “rock” level. Each raw stone is approached with a patient silence. Hands learn its edges and hidden light. Through measured cuts, the gem reveals its true destiny, whether it is born to be a singular brooch or part of a grand necklace.
Mine-to-Market: The Art of Personal Selection
For Harshad Soni, the thrill of sourcing hasn’t changed since he was fifteen. Growing up as a goldsmith for the royal house of Vadodara, he was raised on the adrenaline of seeing world-class treasures in their most honest state. Today, that same child-like excitement returns every time he crackles open a parcel of raw “rocks.”
Drawing on an eye refined by years of studying world famous jewels and decades of experience, he reads a stone’s saturation before it is even faceted. He personally grades every parcel for depth and colour, deciding its fate on the spot: an exceptional find is reserved for a 1-of-1 bracelet, while larger quantities are picked out for grand necklaces.
A Dialogue with Light: Our Creation Method
Design at Harvish is a spirited dialogue between Harshad’s artistic intuition and Ashutosh’s scientific precision. It is where the painter’s whim meets the microscope’s truth. We utilise a proprietary setting technique where each gem is tilted at a deliberate, “dancing” angle, a method that makes the metal gracefully vanish from sight.
By integrating 3D CAM modeling, we transform heavy gold into an invisible skeleton. The result is “The Breath of Light”: a masterpiece where metal recedes into the shadows, allowing stones to align in a seamless rhythm. Here, light travels uninterrupted, leaping from one gem to the next to keep the earth’s natural fire alive. Here, the metal does not compete with the stone, it is merely the frame that allows the gemstone to breathe.
The Art of Looking: Our Inspirations
Design at Harvish starts with the art of looking. Harshad’s creative mind was shaped during his early years of painting on a grand scale, where he learned to find beauty in the smallest details. He possesses a rare, patient focus, he can study a single grape for an hour, watching how light moves through its skin and how its shape curves, until that simple fruit transforms into the blueprint for a jeweled earring or a gold pendant.
A Testament to Royal Grandeur
Vadodara has long honoured craftsmanship as a cultural legacy. The Laxmi Vilas Palace stands as its grandest expression, where artistry, detail, and devotion breathe in timeless form.
That same spirit endures in Harvish Jewels, where gemstones are shaped with reverence for rarity and heritage. From palace to jewel, Vadodara continues to celebrate what is rare, enduring, and exquisitely made.
From Thought to the Art of Rare: Our Seven Stages
In the workshop, this imagination meets technical precision. Every whim is turned into a physical plan using 3D CAM modeling. Every abstract thought travels through a strict Seven-Stage Journey:

01. Hand-Sketch
The first whisper of imagination, rendered by hand in its most poetic purity.

02. CAD Design
A realm of digital mastery where proportion, balance, and precision are perfected.

03. Wax Structure
A sculpted prelude in form — tangible, refined, and ready for transformation.

04. 3D CAM Model
Engineering excellence translates artistry into exacting reality.

05. Gold Casting
Molten gold is summoned and shaped, permanence forged in fire.

06. Hand-Setting
Each gemstone is enthroned with reverence, precision, and quiet authority.

07. Final Polishing
Luminosity unveiled — the creation attains its destined brilliance.
